Selecting Features on the Map

The RTD Map Server allows you to select items (also known as features) on the map and get more information about the item.

Selecting Features

1. Click the 'Select' Button .
2. On the Map, Click the left mouse button, and while holding it down, drag a box over an area in which to select items.
3. Items from the current 'Select Layer' will be selected, and their information shown on the map in the 'Selected Features Attributes' Window.  Items selected will be highlighted.  Point items (like LRT stations, bus stops, etc) will be shown as a highlighted pushpin.

To change the select layer, open the Map Properties Window.  Select a different layer and click 'Update'.  You can only select from one layer at a time.

Selecting new features clears any currently selected features on both the map and in the attributes window.
